The content needed to be suitable for all of the regions that Avon & Somerset Police currently cover, so we took the decision to create a character-led 2D animation. This meant we could focus solely on the kind of additional tasks the police force took on during the pandemic, rather than specific individuals or locations.
Using animation meant that we were able to really tell the story of how the Avon & Somerset Police Force supported the community during this time and enabled us to create lots of different versions for each region more easily than if we had been filming content.
