The Brief

Knoops, a brand known for its expertly crafted chocolate drinks, has quickly grown across the UK and abroad. With a strong retail network and an expanding customer base, they turned to PinPoint Media to help boost online sales of their Chocolate Flakes, so customers could enjoy their drinks at home.

For the second year in a row, PinPoint Media managed the Knoops account with the main goal of driving yearly revenue growth. Knowing that summer is tough for hot chocolate sales, the team focused on finding new audiences and promoting products like Ice Chocolate drinks, Ice Chocolate Coffee, and Chocolate and Ice Cream. To reach these goals, PinPoint Media used paid social platforms like Meta and TikTok, as well as Google Search, to connect with potential customers in the competitive food and drink market.


The Challenge

With higher growth targets, PinPoint Media focused on managing ad spend carefully to ensure both growth and efficiency. This meant constantly adjusting budgets to get the best return on ad spend (ROAS).

From January to July, there was a drop in search demand, which created a challenge. To keep revenue growing despite lower search activity, a solid strategy was needed.

PinPoint Media created a plan that focused on targeting the right audiences, running focused campaigns, and promoting seasonal products. By using data and staying flexible, it made sure revenue targets were met while maintaining a strong ROAS.


The Outcome

PinPoint Media ran such a successful campaign that Knoops sold out of products online for a period in December and early January. Over the course of the year, PinPoint Media helped boost purchases by 60% and increased revenue by 66%.

The campaign was so successful that in December 2024, Knoops saw revenue of over £500,000—more than 2.5 times the amount from the year before. This strong growth highlighted the effectiveness of Pinpoint Media's approach in driving impressive results.
