The Brief

PayZe is a smart, simple, prepaid payment card. Just load it up with cash, give it as a gift, or use it to shop for the stuff you love later. PayZe were looking to go to market with social content to drive awareness in the runup to their official brand launch in New Zealand. PayZe required content that was produced at volume and in multiple aspect ratios and styles. PayZe’s brief “Be Different”

The Challenge

As an agency that harnesses the power of AI when suitable, our team built a bank of social content for use on Meta through to TikTok using AI. 

With PayZe’s slogan ‘Pay Different’ it was decided that a retro, 1980s visual style would be used. Our team of creatives ideated the theming and messaging that would be associated with PayZe’s awareness campaign in New Zealand. To ensure we hit the correct audience and nuance we collaborated with our overseas counterparts in New Zealand to ensure local relevance.

The Outcome

The volume and variations of content meant the most cost effective way of producing content of this type at scale was to use Artificial Intelligence (AI). AI-driven video production allows us to create bespoke videos in minutes, sometimes seconds, by assembling components such as titles, graphics, images, video, music and animation. 

With Payze, we utilised AI to analyse footage and identify objects and make decisions about the composition of a shot or sequence. Ensuring the campaign and assets were on brand our Creative Director and Producers ensured a close grip. We were ultimately able to produce and re-purpose hundreds of videos across 4 different social channels in a fraction of the time it would have normally taken.
