The Brief

Bites Babywear were looking to increase their brand awareness and digital exposure by creating a suite of videos for their new company website and social media channels.


The focus of these videos was their flagship product, the Bites Original All-In-One Trousers that have unique integrated socks making for a comfortable, durable, practical and stylish product for young children.


Bites Babywear wanted to guarantee that they got the maximum return on their investment by ensuring that the videos we created were backed up with a distribution strategy that would enable them to gain more traction and create more engagement with prospective customers across a multitude of different platforms.

The Challenge

As Bites Babywear were a business still very much in their infancy, the budget for this project was always going to be a challenge. We needed to come up with a simple concept for the videos that would do justice to the company’s brand image, but not break the bank when it came to production costs.


We produced several concepts for each video before agreeing which should be taken through to completion. With such a tight timeline, 3,000 actor auditions to oversee and no time for amends, tweaks or changes, we only had one opportunity to get it right.

The Solution

Our design team decided upon a ‘behind-the-scenes’ style concept that saw us film a product photoshoot for the All-In-One Trousers, which we were able to set up at the company founder’s charming cottage in the heat of the Cotswolds.


This turned out to be the perfect location to capture the products being put through their paces by a whole host of young volunteers, who were able to bundle around inside and outside and really have fun with both the Photographer and Filmmaker we had on location.


We kept the majority of the footage handheld and did not try and shy away from the kind of ‘homemade’ feel and look that we wanted the videos to have. 

Not only did this help keep costs to an absolute minimum, but also made for a really authentic piece that paid tribute to the humble beginnings of the company being founded by a mum, for mums.


We followed this up with a bespoke content strategy plan for both the full length edit designed for the company website, along with a series of shorter stings to be distributed out on social media.


This strategy was geared towards getting the Bites Babywear name out there and parents talking about a product that truly had been designed to make their lives and those of their little ones, that bit easier!
