When the UK government issued strict health and safety guidelines for businesses reopening at the end of the first COVID lockdown, those in construction could only open if they kept to strict social distancing guidelines.
Barratt Developments needed a video to clearly communicate their new protective measures and protocols to employees, customers, and the industry at large.
To communicate changes as quickly as possible after the government’s announcements, we had one week to produce the video content and had to be flexible to any developments as they occurred.
As we needed to film with several of the Barratt Developments team, we also needed to ensure we kept to the new social distancing guidelines to keep everyone safe and secure. Our producer worked closely with the Barratts team to finalise the piece-to-camera scripts, shot list and logistics in advance, allowing us to send a single filmmaker to site to minimise any risks.
